Ghana’s para-athletes have been gearing up for the 2024 Paralympic Games with intense training sessions and rigorous preparation. As the event draws closer, the excitement and determination among the athletes are palpable.
In the weeks leading up to the Games, the Ghanaian team participated in a pre-camp training in Gennevilliers, France, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The team comprised six members, including three athletes: Tahiru Haruna, Isaac Obeng, and Patricia Nyamekye, who focused on fine-tuning their skills in para-powerlifting, para-cycling, and para-taekwondo. This pre-camp aimed to enhance their performance and build team cohesion ahead of the competition​
